PCB Solutions, Inc a PCB Assembly and Electronic Manufacturing Services Provider in Layton, Utah, has recently completed its AS9100 Certification audit and will receive its Certification later this month. The Contract Electronics Manufacturer has been in operation since 2000, and completed the ISO 9001:2000 Certification last year. The new AS9100 Certification comes on the heels of record second quarter earnings and the acquisition of several key engineers.

AS9100 is an internationally recognized quality management system standard based on ISO 9001 requirements and adopted by the Aerospace Industry. The International Organization for Standardization creates and implements standards to ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient and continually improved upon. Furthermore, they provide a safeguard to consumers of various products and services. Certification is only granted after external, third-party auditors conduct ongoing process assessments per established criteria that organizations must strictly continue to meet.
