Utah-based Contract Electronics Manufacturer and Printed Circuit Board Assembly Company PCB Solutions has announced the addition of some significant new equipment that will dramatically increase their current capacity. This announcement comes on the heels of record 2008 earnings reports for the company proving that there are survivors amidst the storm of national economic devastation.
PCB Solutions has acquired additional Fuji pick-and-place assembly machines that will increase their production capacity dramatically, according to VP of Production Joe Otterstrom. He says that Fuji has been a leader in SMT technology and develops machines that are arguably the most accurate and efficient in the industry.
“We’ve expanded several of our lines through this acquisition by adding another Fuji CP-6 and two Fuji QP-2’s” says Joe, “and it opens up a lot of opportunity for us in the marketplace. We can accommodate small, medium, and large volume customers from just about any industry. The overriding feature of running the Fuji lines is their PCBA proficiency. Accuracy and dependability translates to real quality for our customers.”
Owner Dave Woodbury commented, “It’s been a great year for us. One of our mandates is to continually upgrade and improve our PCB Assembly production floor. We operate in a competitive environment and we want to be a quality leader. We have to constantly reinvest in our equipment and our people in order to accomplish that.”
